This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage client relationships, acting as the main actuarial advisor on intricate healthcare projects.

• Convert analytical insights into strategic recommendations for high-level stakeholders.

• Supervise the provision of high-quality, timely, and actionable deliverables to clients.

• Direct the design, execution, and peer evaluation of sophisticated actuarial analyses, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

• Lead the development of assumptions, methodologies, and models for pricing, reserving, forecasting, and program assessment.

• Oversee the establishment of scalable, dynamic actuarial models and analytical tools.

• Mentor, coach, and nurture junior and mid-level actuarial personnel.

• Collaborate with actuarial leadership to advance practice development initiatives.

• Promote strong cross-functional collaboration across RSC teams.

• Assess emerging healthcare trends, funding arrangements, and care delivery models.

• Oversee actuarial aspects of innovative product design, network optimization, and care management evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics, or a related field.

• FSA is highly preferred; ASA with considerable senior-level experience will be considered.

• Over 12 years of healthcare actuarial experience in areas such as commercial healthcare, stop-loss, health and wellness consulting, care management evaluation, reserving, pricing, pharmacy/PBM analytics, alternative funding, actuarial model development, and healthcare data sources.

• Advanced skills in SQL, SAS, VBA, R, or Python.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of explaining complex actuarial concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven leadership, project management, and client-facing experience.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward.
