This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to deliver precise and timely information for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Establishes metrics, performs data analyses, and collaborates directly to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Assesses industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive standing.
• Ensures data integrity by developing and implementing essential processes and controls regarding data flow.
• Develops, constructs, and continuously enhances complex reserving models utilizing cloud-based technology and advanced analytics.
• Utilizes tools such as Databricks and Power BI to create, automate, and optimize reporting processes.
• Conducts comprehensive analyses to uncover opportunities for enhancing reserve accuracy, translating insights into actionable improvements to the reserve model.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
• Proven ability to effectively articulate ideas in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong technological skills.
• Demonstrated capability to design, build, and continuously enhance complex models.
• Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in SAS/SQL.
• Experience with Databricks or Power BI.
• Background in developing and applying predictive models.
