Senior Accounting, Audit Expert – US GAAP, AI Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop complex accounting and audit assignments based on authentic professional scenarios.

• Create technically precise, top-tier solutions that adhere to accounting and assurance standards.

• Assess AI-generated results for accuracy in accounting, completeness, professional judgment, and practical applicability.

• Analyze financial statements, disclosures, and intricate accounting treatments in accordance with US GAAP.

• Evaluate internal controls related to financial reporting and compliance processes.

• Review audit scenarios that encompass risk assessment, evidence evaluation, materiality, and deficiencies in controls.

• Detect technical mistakes, unsupported conclusions, and significant reporting issues.

• Oversee and calibrate the contributions of other participants against established quality benchmarks.

• Ensure consistent quality and coherence in daily assigned tasks.

• Bring forward genuine edge cases and unclear evaluation criteria to the functional expert lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–15 years of professional experience in accounting or auditing, preferably at the Manager–Director level in public accounting or as an industry Controller.

• Possession of a professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or a comparable regional accounting certification.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, disclosures, and reporting obligations.

• Extensive experience in resolving complex accounting and financial reporting challenges.

• Practical experience in designing, evaluating, or enhancing internal controls.

• Availability for full-time work of 40 hours per week, with at least 4 hours of overlap in PST.

• Completion of a brief online assessment and delivery review.
