Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate the monthly and yearly accounting closure processes, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Compute and document provisions, depreciation, amortization, fluctuations in foreign exchange, and necessary accounting adjustments.

• Prepare and assess trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and various other financial reports.

• Calculate IRPJ and CSLL under both Actual Profit and Presumed Profit tax regimes, incorporating LALUR/LACS controls.

• Prepare, confirm, and submit ECD and ECF ancillary tax obligations.

• Analyze and validate accounting settings within the Sankhya ERP, contributing to implementations, testing, and enhancements of processes.

• Assist clients, auditors, and tax authorities by detecting discrepancies and suggesting corrective measures.

• Work closely with tax, finance, IT, and other departments to streamline accounting procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Substantial experience with accounting processes and both monthly and annual closing procedures.

• Proficiency in reconciliations, financial statements, and trial balance assessments.

• Experience in calculating IRPJ and CSLL under the Actual Profit and Presumed Profit tax frameworks.

• Familiarity with LALUR/LACS, ECD, and ECF regulations.

• Understanding of CPCs and relevant accounting standards.

• Analytical, organized, results-driven, and dedicated to ongoing improvement.

• Proficient in using Sankhya ERP.

• Experience with system configuration, implementation, and user acceptance testing.

• Knowledge of the Brazilian Tax Reform and its accounting implications, including IBS and CBS.

• Background in external audits and trial balance evaluations.

• Proven experience in providing client support and consulting services.

• Ability to convert accounting regulations into actionable procedures and system configurations.
