📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, examination, and analysis of journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules.

• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities.

• Determine the root causes of variances and address discrepancies.

• Suggest improvements to processes.

• Evaluate trends and key drivers within assigned accounts.

• Create summaries and explanations for management reviews and internal reporting.

• Collaborate with Strategic Finance, Tax, Treasury, and business partners.

• Offer accounting insights and respond to operational inquiries.

• Assist with system and process modifications by defining accounting requirements, testing results, and ensuring data integrity.

• Formulate and uphold standard operating procedures, controls, and documentation.

• Enhance and automate accounting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional accounting experience in public accounting, industry (technology, advertising, media), or a combination of both.

• An active CPA license is highly preferred.

• Proficient in performing and reviewing period-end closing activities and variance analysis in a high-volume or multi-entity setting.

• Familiarity with modern ERP and financial systems.

• Experience with Alteryx Designer or Databricks.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini in accounting and/or finance environments.

• Advanced Excel skills and a strong aptitude for managing large datasets.

• Capacity to work with a heightened sense of urgency and exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and independently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven organization.
