This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Execute month-end closing activities, which involve the preparation of general ledger entries and analysis.
• Evaluate period-end submissions.
• Aid in the consolidation of month/quarter-end reporting packages.
• Review balance sheets and bank reconciliations at the regional and/or divisional level.
• Ensure the prompt completion and documentation of identified and resolved issues.
• Complete balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations for the division.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, company procedures, policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Manage, control, and reconcile moderately to highly complex accounts.
• Support divisional management with ad hoc requests from corporate or executive management.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• An MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
• Substantial accounting experience is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
• Experience with Oracle is considered a plus.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical abilities are necessary.
