Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire accounting cycle independently, which includes the preparation and finalization of financial statements for both Lithuanian and international entities.

• Perform timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.

• Coordinate and actively engage in financial audits alongside external auditors.

• Prepare and submit precise tax reports, such as i.SAF and VAT declarations, ensuring adherence to Lithuanian and international tax regulations.

• Supervise bank reconciliations, manage invoices, and oversee general ledger entries.

• Collaborate with third-party accounting and tax consultants on matters related to financial reporting and taxation.

• Work in conjunction with other departments to support new business models and ensure compliance.

• Provide mentorship and assistance to junior members of the accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with a focus on managing the full accounting cycle.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Lithuanian GAAP, IFRS, and international tax regulations.

• Experience with comprehensive month-end and year-end closing processes, including participation in audits.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP accounting software.

• Strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively prioritize and meet strict deadlines.

• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work efficiently across various departments.

• Fluent in Lithuanian with a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

• CV must be submitted in English.
