This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing OPEX accruals, prepaid schedules, expense allocations, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, Legal, and People teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and providing clarifications.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including flux analysis.
• Create, maintain, and enhance accounting workpapers for financial analysis, reporting, and process automation.
• Manage the complete Accounts Payable process, including vendor setup, purchase order issuance, invoice matching, invoice processing, and weekly AP payment cycles.
• Handle one-off and ad-hoc payments that require judgment and discretion.
• Oversee vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Review GL coding for T&E and credit card transactions and ensure supporting documentation is attached.
• Engage in projects and respond to ad-hoc financial inquiries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting; CPA license is preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience; experience in public accounting is preferred.
• Experience in crypto accounting is advantageous.
• Direct experience in performing detailed and data-intensive reconciliations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial procedures.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising across departments.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with Mac OSX, GSuite, and an ERP system such as Netsuite is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
