Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement a range of high-impact cost and process transformation projects, such as the Billing System Migration & Optimization (One Bill Solution).

• Assist in system migration, validate billing accuracy, and align revenue with general ledgers.

• Detect revenue leakage, identify process inefficiencies, and explore automation opportunities.

• Conduct analysis of lease portfolios, contract conditions, and utility expenses.

• Pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction through renegotiation, consolidation, and termination.

• Lead efforts to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

• Strategize liquidation approaches and enhance the accuracy of inventory accounting.

• Assess vendor agreements for cost-effectiveness and value generation.

• Track aging, support the collections strategy, and ensure accurate accounting practices.

• Aid in the preparation and submission of necessary tax returns and regulatory filings.

• Document workflows and establish scalable, repeatable processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA or an equivalent professional certification is mandatory.

• At least 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial closing procedures.

• Knowledge of balance sheet and profit & loss accounting.

• Familiarity with internal controls and compliance standards.

• Experience in Project Management and various project cycles.

• Preferred background in telecommunications or high-volume operational environments.

• Exposure to system implementations, process reengineering, or automation projects.

• Proficient with ERP systems and billing platforms.

• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.
