This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Oversee the comprehensive technical strategy for a portfolio of intricate federal accounts within the North American Government.
• Convert the mission priorities of the Department of War/DoD and various agencies into long-term Citrix technology roadmaps.
• Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships at the executive level and governance across customer and partner ecosystems.
• Assess the current architecture, identifying constraints and risks across both classified and unclassified environments.
• Create target-state architectures and decision-making frameworks.
• Document reference architectures, security baselines, playbooks, and customer-ready narratives.
• Act as a senior technical spokesperson for Citrix with customer executives, industry forums, and strategic partners.
• Direct the technical strategy for intricate evaluations and competitive displacements.
• Formulate technical win strategies and executive messaging.
• Provide architecture briefings, technical reviews, and product demonstrations that are suitable for executives.
• Design and manage multi-product proofs of value, including success criteria, test plans, and paths to production transition.
• Create and develop proof-of-concept solutions for client evaluations.
• Write and keep updated technical roadmaps aligned with executive expectations and customer success plans.
• Manage major incidents and escalations, including communication, trend analysis, root-cause reviews, and risk recommendations.
• Establish and facilitate architecture boards, technical strategy reviews, value briefings, discovery workshops, and environment assessments.
• Coordinate execution across sales, product, engineering, support, partners, and leadership.
• Offer decision-oriented updates and briefs on risks/issues to internal leadership.
• Lead virtual teams and enhance repeatable processes and standards.
• Provide regular account updates to sales, product, and leadership teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stability activities, escalation management, proactive communication, and supportability planning.
• Active United States Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship and residency in one of the 50 U.S. States or the District of Columbia are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.
• 3-5 years of experience in Sales Engineering and/or Consulting within high-tech, indirect sales, and procurement environments.
• Proven track record of successfully driving customer adoption of technology.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in navigating complex and matrixed organizations successfully.
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical enterprise architectures utilizing Citrix technologies.
• Familiarity with multi-domain, multi-enclave, and hybrid environments that have strict security and availability requirements.
• Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / DaaS architecture.
• Experience in NetScaler / ADC design.
• Knowledge of identity, access, and device posture concepts that support ICAM and Zero Trust principles.
• Understanding of enterprise security and compliance alignment, including NIST 800-53 and RMF/ATO considerations.
• Basics of networking and connectivity for hybrid and multi-enclave architectures.
• Experience in application delivery and lifecycle integration.
• Focus on observability and operational excellence.
• Strong grasp of business processes and enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, and negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications in Citrix, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or security are advantageous but not mandatory.
