This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our customers' business objectives, technical goals, and IT infrastructures.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Ecosystem teams to evaluate the potential use of Red Hat and Partner solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise for the creation and execution of intricate solutions and services.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to technology adoption by engaging with Red Hat’s products and engineering teams.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with our customers to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Showcase the value to our customers and partners through presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects.
• Conduct research and draft responses to the technical components of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Coordinate the technical contributions of other Red Hat resources such as Product Specialists, Support, and Professional Services.
• Provide persuasive recommendations that lead to the successful closing of new sales.
• Take ownership of a bookings quota and conduct regular reviews and reports regarding the opportunities you are pursuing.
• Share your knowledge by contributing to documentation (e.g., wikis, quick-start guides, blog posts, and white papers), creating reusable assets (e.g., demonstrations, workshops), and presenting at conferences and industry events.
• Experience in pre-sales, consulting, IT architecture, or a related field supporting enterprise accounts.
• Experience in integration, development, or administration with Kubernetes and Linux.
• Proficient in delivering presentations to varied audience sizes, including business, technical, management, and leadership groups.
• Skilled in fostering relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels within large enterprise IT organizations.
• Knowledgeable about modern and emerging technologies, including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and contemporary application frameworks.
• Familiarity with complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work well in a team setting.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• One or more of the following is advantageous: Any Red Hat certification or experience/certification with any public cloud provider.
