This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +7 more states.
• Drive revenue growth by promoting Sourcewell’s enterprise solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with both potential and existing clients.
• Create and execute customer contact strategies for product launches and relevant marketing initiatives.
• Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries and complaints, addressing or escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct calls and meetings to present solutions while assessing customer interests and information requirements.
• Assist clients in navigating systems and utilizing available solutions effectively.
• Identify potential accounts through referrals, recommendations, trade shows, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Determine solutions that best fit agency needs and articulate how they align with agency objectives.
• Schedule follow-up actions and ensure updates are made in the CRM system after customer interactions.
• Facilitate internal communications and work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen external client relationships.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and codes of conduct.
• Enhance individual or team performance through performance management systems and effective work distribution.
• Engage in assessment, development planning, training, and coaching initiatives.
• Stay informed about technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Travel approximately eight times a year, which may include occasional trips to Staples, Minnesota.
• Provide support for Sourcewell’s Central region.
• An associate's degree in a relevant field OR a combination of post-secondary education, professional training, and related experience equivalent to two years.
• A minimum of two years of proven experience within government agencies, covering areas such as purchasing, procurement, contract management, municipal operations, public administration, or closely related roles.
• Experience working with or within government entities.
• Background in sales, business development, or strategic account management with a focus on public sector clients.
• Willingness to meet travel obligations of approximately eight trips per year, including occasional travel to Staples, MN.
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. state; applications are not accepted from California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington D.C., or Washington.
• Preference is given to candidates living in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
• Capability to adhere to Sourcewell policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and codes of conduct.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and maintaining high-quality customer data.
• Ability to obtain supervisor or manager approval for exceptions to mandatory procedures.
