This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the main liaison between clients, the internal team, and vendors.
• Recognize opportunities to address client needs and provide solutions.
• Foster positive relationships with essential client teams.
• Comprehend and anticipate clients’ objectives and competitive landscape.
• Professionally manage issues, seeking solutions and consensus.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
• Convert client requirements into clear guidance for the team.
• Define the scope, plan, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Supervise project delivery and execution.
• Encourage effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Take ownership of, document, and communicate meeting outcomes.
• Manage development priorities and timelines effectively.
• Oversee creative processes and client reviews.
• Update stakeholders on project status and potential risks.
• Identify, document, and convey project issues and changes.
• Handle client discussions, including intake, briefing, long-term planning, and challenging conversations.
• Mentor or supervise junior team members.
• A minimum of 4–5 years of recent experience in a marketing/advertising agency is required.
• 5–7 years of agency experience is preferred.
• 6–8 years in an account management or project management capacity.
• At least 3 years of experience in a hybrid role encompassing account and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to transition between account management and project management roles.
• Proven track record of growing client accounts.
• Inter-agency experience is advantageous.
• Capacity to manage multiple clients and projects with complex, matrixed teams.
• Experience overseeing projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from planning to execution.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and people management abilities.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Adaptability to changing priorities or circumstances.
• Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools.
• Experience in budgeting and resource management.
• Expertise in managing project teams, deliverables, timelines, and internal prioritization.
• Proficient in managing client discussions, project intake, briefing, long-term planning, and difficult conversations.
• Experience in mentoring or managing junior team members.
• Must reside in Canada, be eligible to work in Canada, and be located in Toronto, Ontario.
