This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• In the role of Account Manager within our weather division, you will take on the strategic responsibility for client accounts, ensuring sustainable growth, partnerships, and revenue enhancement.
• You will act as a consultative advisor in the aviation industry, fostering relationships, pinpointing new opportunities, and expanding the account through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
• Your role entails recognizing opportunities within current accounts, guaranteeing that DTN’s solutions adapt to the changing needs of customers.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a strategic consultant.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of client requirements, challenges, and business goals.
• Create robust and meaningful Territory & Account Plans.
• Offer proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that provide value and enhance engagement.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase account value.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to reveal unmet needs.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize client offerings.
• Negotiate contract renewals above a specific threshold to ensure ongoing success and profitability.
• Continuously assess accounts for new business opportunities, utilizing industry insights and customer feedback.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales is preferred; or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales.
• More than 5 years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relationships.
• Strong familiarity with either the Energy, Utilities, Transportation, or Renewable sectors.
• Proficient in German, both written and spoken, at a business level.
• Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling efforts.
• Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to account management.
• Proficient in SFDC for tracking leads and managing pipelines.
• A consultative and professional manner in engaging with customers.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
