This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Implement sales strategies by identifying client requirements and offering suitable hardware and services provided by the company.
• Expand business opportunities through various marketing and sales methods, including but not limited to cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and collaborating with vendors or manufacturers.
• Maintain a focused understanding of customer operations, demonstrating the ability to identify customer needs, purchasing cycles, and building robust relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.
• Achieve or surpass annual sales revenue and margin targets as set by management.
• Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure that quotes are delivered, and order requests are processed correctly, alongside the engineering team for accurate project scoping.
• Manage personal sales goals, encompassing sales orders and billing activities to support quarterly targets.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience and/or military background.
• Over 5 years of external information technology sales experience (customer-facing) in areas such as infrastructure, storage, network security, software sales, professional services, or managed services preferred, with a strong preference for cloud experience.
• Exceptional sales capabilities, including proficiency in the English language, assertiveness, empathy, flexibility, strong customer service skills, active listening, persuasion, public speaking, polished presentation, and a focus on service orientation.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated individual with a talent for building relationships, conveying product knowledge, and swiftly closing deals.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with team members across departments and all organizational levels.
• Proven success in cultivating relationships with clients and vendors, with the capacity to translate client business requirements into effective solutions.
