
Senior Account Manager, Sales, Multinational Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the proactive creation of business plans for designated customers that are fully aligned with the organization's strategy.
• Meet sales and revenue goals by identifying opportunities within both existing and new accounts.
• Comprehend customer needs and feedback to reveal further opportunities within assigned accounts across all products and solutions.
• Build and utilize networks and relationships with key customers to extend and grow the West business.
• Lead the successful execution of business objectives through meticulous planning and implementation of customized key account plans.
• Carry out the market strategy and objectives for West products and solutions.
• Engage in and facilitate significant external events and meetings, such as client meetings, presentations, and roundtables.
• Oversee the local sales processes and manage the WEST CRM system, ensuring data integrity within the system.
• Ensure effective use of Key Account Management tools to cultivate strong relationships with key customers.
• Take responsibility for the accuracy of monthly and quarterly reports.
• Manage a mix of cross-functional and cross-regional technical resources to maximize account value and achieve business goals.
• Implement the established pricing strategy tailored for each customer segment to ensure West meets its planned gross margins per customer and segment.
• Ensure that clients and distributors adhere to their contractual commitments.
• Perform other relevant duties and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in managing or supervising cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in a similar industry or field is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of rubber/elastomer technology or the pharmaceutical/medical device industry would be an additional advantage.
• Ability to foster collaboration among cross-functional team members and effectively execute a sales growth strategy.
• Driven by a passion for customers to create positive change and possess experience in change management.
• Strong business and financial acumen are essential.
• Disciplined, capable of working independently; self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Resourceful and able to influence and navigate effectively within a matrix environment.
• Mature and able to maintain composure under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ensure high ethical standards are consistently upheld and full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and internal policies and procedures.
• Able to adhere to the company’s safety policy at all times.
• Willingness to travel at least 30-40% of the time domestically, with occasional regional travel.
