This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute comprehensive Customer Account Plans tailored to the Medicaid segment.
• Collaborate on state-level engagement strategies alongside Government Affairs Directors and Payer Account Executives.
• Track legislative, policy, marketplace, and regulatory changes impacting Medicaid contracts and product usage.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with state Medicaid agencies, Pharmacy Benefit Administrators, payer decision-makers, and various stakeholders.
• Lead clinical presentations and engage in business discussions with clients.
• Implement and uphold supplemental rebate agreements, including analyses before and after contracts.
• Negotiate contracts and discover innovative contracting solutions with internal teams and clients.
• Champion customer needs while aligning with company business goals.
• Prepare financial, trend, and data-modeling analyses to aid negotiations.
• Collaborate with Finance on quarterly projections for sales and discounts.
• Identify ways to add value for customers and present recommendations to leadership.
• Foster collaboration among Government Affairs, CCE, Finance, Payer Marketing, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry focused on marketing or account management.
• Experience in direct account management, customer contracting and financial analysis, customer marketing, and/or the pharmaceutical supply chain.
• Proven ability to implement key initiatives and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strategic thinking, strong relational skills, business acumen, analytical capabilities, and operational expertise.
• Cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Preferred understanding of the Medicaid segment, including Fee-for-Service and Managed Medicaid.
• An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience in IAM CM, CM Support, or a CM Stakeholder role is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in negotiating, executing, and implementing contracts is preferred.
• Field sales experience is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.
