This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated accounts, fostering relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers.
• Ensure continuous communication to comprehend client requirements and uncover new business prospects.
• Establish the organization's offerings as the preferred choice in hospitality through exceptional service, product knowledge, and account management.
• Propel revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing group, TMC, and leisure wholesale business opportunities.
• Recognize opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and market expansion.
• Generate qualified leads through prospecting, conducting sales calls, networking, and attending industry events.
• Implement account strategies that align with client goals and market demands.
• Oversee contract renewals and develop retention strategies.
• Address client issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track market trends, competitor actions, and client needs.
• Maintain precise records in Salesforce, along with CRM data, forecasts, and reports.
• Keep an updated Outlook calendar and manage expenses efficiently.
• Engage in meetings, conference calls, and internal discussions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and regional leadership to achieve account, territory, and business goals.
• Assess account performance and keep an eye on market trends.
• Measure performance using commercial, revenue, and contribution metrics.
• Adjust account strategies based on performance evaluations, client feedback, and market dynamics.
• Prepare and present performance updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Uphold a professional appearance and maintain a vehicle that meets company standards.
• Appropriately use, maintain, and securely store company-provided equipment and sales resources.
• Work autonomously in a field-based position while collaborating with regional leadership.
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, travel, account management, or business development.
• Preferred experience with group, TMC, and leisure wholesale business.
• Demonstrated ability to generate, manage, and convert sales opportunities across various market segments.
• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, paired with a professional demeanor.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and accountable for performance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, WebEx, Zoom, and Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
• Preferably experienced in the New Zealand market with established client relationships.
• Capability to work independently in a remote, field-based role with adaptable working hours as necessary.
• Maintain a professional appearance and vehicle that align with company standards.
• Ability to appropriately use, maintain, and securely store company-issued equipment and sales materials.
