This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Establish robust, trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of client requirements, challenges, and business goals.
• Develop comprehensive, impactful Territory & Account Plans.
• Offer proactive recommendations, presenting new solutions that enhance value and foster engagement.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of weather.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by providing exceptional service and innovative solutions.
• Recognize the need to involve additional DTN expertise and solution engineering resources for ongoing account growth.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to increase account value.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discover unmet needs.
• Strategically introduce new products, services, and solutions that align with client objectives.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance client offerings.
• Negotiate contract renewals above a specified threshold to ensure continued success and profitability.
• Continuously assess accounts for new business opportunities, utilizing industry insights and customer feedback.
• Identify potential referrals, partnerships, and expansions within existing accounts.
• Stay informed on industry trends to recommend solutions that set DTN apart.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales is preferred; or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations.
• Strong understanding of the Energy, Utilities, Transportation, or Renewable industries.
• Proficiency in German (written and spoken at a business level) is required.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management.
• Expertise in SFDC for tracking leads and managing pipelines.
• A consultative and professional demeanor when engaging with customers.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
