This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of key accounts within the energy infrastructure sector.
• Meet and surpass set revenue goals through direct engagement with customers.
• Discover, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aimed at fostering long-term growth.
• Navigate complex, consultative sales processes from initial prospecting to final closure.
• Market and sell comprehensive energy solutions, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), microgrids, power systems, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Interact with utilities, developers, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), contractors, and enterprise-level customers.
• Work in collaboration with engineering and technical teams to provide customized solutions.
• Keep precise records of pipeline and forecasting within a CRM system, such as Salesforce.
• Propel pipeline development and guarantee steady progression of deals.
• Deliver regular updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Ensure successful project execution and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
• Over 10 years of direct sales experience with quotas in technical or industrial solutions.
• Proven expertise in solution selling, particularly in areas such as Data Center Infrastructure; Microgrids / Energy Storage (BESS); and broader Energy Infrastructure, especially in Commercial & Industrial markets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate sales processes and close high-value transactions successfully.
• Experience selling to utilities, developers, EPCs, contractors, or large enterprise clients.
• Strong comprehension of B2B solution selling and best practices in account management.
• Preferred experience with power electronics, EV charging, or renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with grid infrastructure, energy management systems, or electrification technologies is preferred.
• Experience working in global or multi-regional settings is preferred.
• Proficient in using CRM tools, with a preference for Salesforce.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without requiring current or future sponsorship.
