
Senior Account Manager – Conferencing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the primary liaison and main point of contact between the client and the larger Morressier team.
• Oversee the client contract, ensuring that all requirements and associated timelines are met and surpassed.
• Encourage renewals and identify opportunities to extend and enhance client contracts, including upsell prospects.
• Maintain ongoing interactions with client staff in a personable, communicative, and professional manner.
• Attain a deep understanding of the product and services to independently resolve minor issues while prioritizing and escalating as necessary.
• Collect business requirements for new developments and enhancements, while proactively seeking ways to enrich the client relationship.
• Collaborate closely with all departments, including Product, Design, and Engineering, to innovate and inform the roadmap based on client feedback, as well as with Sales for new bids and RFP responses for multiyear/enterprise clients.
• Define, track, and analyze key metrics that evaluate client success and contribute to the company's overall objectives.
• Engage in additional activities as needed to support this highly cross-functional global team.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience (6-7 years) in account management, customer success, or a consultative sales position.
• Background in conferencing within academia, societies, or the scholarly communications sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Natural aptitude for relationship-building and a service-oriented mindset.
• Capacity to work independently while fostering a high level of internal communication and collaboration with global colleagues.
• Technical proficiency and the ability to rapidly learn new software.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and potentially internationally (as post-pandemic conditions allow) to meet with clients and colleagues.
