This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with the Field Application Engineer to showcase and promote RTI software and engineering services to both existing and potential clients within the designated territory.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities in key industries through methods such as prospecting, cold calling, networking with partners, and participating in relevant trade events. Additionally, work alongside RTI’s Sales Development Representatives to enhance outreach efforts.
• Organize and schedule meetings while consulting with clients onsite to gain insight into their technical and business challenges.
• Partner with RTI Product Management and Engineering teams to create tailored software solutions.
• Engage with decision-makers and influencers effectively.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager and Professional Services team to onboard and integrate new clients while nurturing relationships with existing customers.
• Establish trust-based professional relationships with key decision-makers, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Manage all business discussions with clients, encompassing pricing, licensing, and negotiations.
• Focus on customer retention, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Marketing team to plan and execute significant events (such as seminars and lunch & learns) in the assigned territory.
• Monitor and forecast critical territory metrics.
• Achieve sales targets by successfully closing business deals within the assigned territory.
• Over 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to selling high-end technology software solutions to R&D and engineering teams.
• A proactive approach to prospecting and the ability to open new opportunities.
• Exceptional hunting and prospecting abilities.
• Proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving trusted advisor status.
• Excellent listening and communication skills to foster relationships with prospects and current clients.
• Proficient in working within a collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.
• Experience in developing new leads, conducting follow-ups, qualifying prospects, and targeted account selling both in-person and via phone.
• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce.com to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience selling to OEMs, system integrators, and design contract firms.
• Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions-oriented sales methodology.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
