This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Drive revenue growth by cultivating and overseeing strategic customer relationships primarily in Northern Italy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging scientific knowledge and a consultative sales strategy.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and support teams to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet the Annual Operating Plan by identifying and nurturing opportunities for sustainable revenue expansion.
• Evaluate market dynamics and prioritize sales prospects that offer the highest return on investment.
• Observe competitor actions, market trends, and the changing needs of customers.
• Establish and maintain robust customer relationships through regular interactions via phone, MS Teams, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Guarantee precise and current management of customer data utilizing Salesforce.com.
• Enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales organization by sharing insights and addressing challenges.
• Master's Degree accompanied by 5 years of B2B sales experience in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, or related scientific sectors.
• Preferred areas of study include Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or other relevant scientific disciplines.
• Additional business or commercial certifications are preferred.
• Possess technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend intricate scientific applications and workflows.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives and expanding strategic accounts.
• Exceptional skills in consultative selling, relationship development, and negotiations at all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and the MS Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with various teams.
• Analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient presentation and communication skills across all organizational tiers.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 50-75% as required.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
