This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering strategic advice on medical affairs and publication planning, timelines, and best practices.
β’ Direct the implementation of medical affairs initiatives (such as advisory boards and slide decks) as well as publication projects (including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations) from the initial planning stage through to submission.
β’ Collaborate with scientific, editorial, and project management teams to guarantee that all deliverables adhere to the highest levels of scientific accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
β’ Guide internal teams to maintain efficient workflow, transparent communication, and superior quality output across multiple simultaneous projects.
β’ Manage project financials, which includes budgeting, statement of work (SOW) development, forecasting, and resource allocation.
β’ Actively seek opportunities for account expansion and support new business ventures.
β’ Ensure that all activities align with Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines and applicable industry standards.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in life sciences (an advanced degree is preferred).
β’ 4β6 years of experience within a medical communications agency, featuring substantial involvement in medical affairs and the planning and delivery of publications.
β’ Strong skills in project and financial management, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and SOW development.
β’ A demonstrated capability to manage intricate publication programs and work collaboratively with authors, clients, and cross-functional internal teams.
β’ Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Familiarity with Datavision and Veeva is an advantage.
