Senior Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of Motorola Solutions’ business interactions within designated accounts, encompassing demand generation, sales, strategic account planning, and management of client relationships.

• Handle sales, strategic account planning, and relationship management for key customers in Central Ohio.

• Create and execute detailed sales strategies for targeted and geographical accounts across Motorola’s range of products and services.

• Serve as a trusted advisor, shaping customers’ technology platform choices while fostering preference and loyalty for Motorola Solutions.

• Actively pursue significant project opportunities across a wide array of products and services.

• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within and outside the public safety sector, including sheriffs, mayors, CIOs, police chiefs, fire chiefs, and other officials.

• Comprehend and influence customers’ technology and funding priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military, and/or public safety, or 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Prior experience in outside sales targeting solutions for government organizations is preferred.

• Strong skills in relationship development and management.

• Familiarity with strategic account management practices.

• Ability to rapidly learn product and solution attributes and effectively communicate their value to clients.

• Capacity to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.

• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices is advantageous.

• Highly driven and focused on achieving results.

• Experience in leveraging channel partners to meet customer needs.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Central Ohio.

• Preferred candidates should reside in Ohio.
