Senior Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of essential retail accounts across various channels including food, drug, mass, and club (e.g., Walmart, Target)

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with retail buyers and partners

• Direct line reviews, sell-in presentations, and continuous business updates with clients

• Examine syndicated data (Circana/IRI) and internal performance metrics to pinpoint opportunities and risks

• Craft engaging, data-driven narratives to bolster distribution, shelf placement, and promotional strategies

• Develop and oversee account forecasts in collaboration with demand planning and supply chain teams

• Monitor and assess account performance against sales objectives and KPIs

• Work collaboratively across functions with supply chain, operations, marketing, and finance to ensure cohesive execution

• Assist in managing broker relationships as necessary

• Keep track of competitive movements, category trends, and customer insights to guide strategy

• Operate with a strong P&L perspective, recognizing the financial implications of decisions


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in account management, ideally within drug or mass retail sectors

• Familiarity with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, or equivalent

• Strong experience in category management, including the capability to independently extract and analyze syndicated data (Circana/IRI)

• Proficient in forecasting and planning methodologies

• Comprehensive understanding of retail fundamentals, encompassing shelf strategy, consumer behavior, and merchandising

• Awareness of P&L and the ability to make sound financial decisions

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to retail buyers and internal stakeholders

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple accounts and priorities concurrently

• Collaborative with the ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority

• Self-motivated with a resourceful, business-owner mentality and comfort in a lean, fast-paced environment
