This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, develop, and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations. Generate new opportunities within high-level accounts while strengthening existing relationships. Engage in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
• Exhibit in-depth industry knowledge and its application to GIS. Recognize key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations to gain access to executive, enterprise-level decision-makers. Comprehend intricate customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Clearly convey the strength and value of Esri technology as it pertains to the AEC industry. Regularly conduct research and pursue professional development to maintain competitive intelligence. Utilize innovative whiteboarding and presentation skills to enhance visual storytelling.
• Proactively manage the account management and sales processes for all opportunities to achieve revenue objectives. Continuously assess work to ensure it meets customer needs.
• Drive account strategies by collaborating consistently with teams across Esri and its business partners. Actively share expertise and support/mentor team members. Be driven, resourceful, and take initiative to resolve challenges.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the sales cycle, forming partnerships, and establishing oneself as a trusted advisor with large clients.
• Strong financial and business acumen to develop compelling account growth strategies.
• Advanced understanding of the AEC consultancy sector, emerging technology trends, and the ability to convert this knowledge into complex solutions for customers.
• Familiarity with GIS, Esri technology, and the relationship between AEC design and consulting.
• Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation skills across all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related AEC discipline.
