This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• We are seeking a dedicated advocate for data, AI, and advanced analytics who can engage with government and public sector organizations throughout Germany, assisting them in maximizing their data's potential via Dataiku's platform.
• As a Senior Account Executive for the Public Sector, you will manage the entire sales process within government and public sector entities — from initial prospecting through closing and beyond. You will utilize Dataiku's resources and expertise to forge meaningful partnerships, navigate intricate procurement landscapes, and achieve successful results for your clients.
• Dataiku is currently experiencing an exciting phase of growth within the public sector. You will collaborate across functions with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align our solutions with the specific needs, priorities, and compliance requirements of government clients — playing a key role in how Dataiku positions itself in this market.
• Public Sector Sales Experience: A solid track record in enterprise software sales within government or public sector organizations, with a strong grasp of tender processes, procurement frameworks, and methods to influence purchasing decisions.
• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in selling complex software platforms — ideally in data, analytics, AI, machine learning, or business intelligence. Preference for platform sales backgrounds over point-solution experiences.
• New Business Hunter: Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and generating significant net new revenue in a market where warm introductions and event presence are more effective than cold outreach.
• Value-Driven Approach: Proficient in understanding the unique challenges faced by public sector clients and effectively communicating how Dataiku delivers meaningful outcomes — including AI sovereignty, on-premise deployment capabilities, and data governance.
• Partner & Reseller Network: Established connections within the German public sector reseller ecosystem, with the capability to leverage partners to navigate certification requirements and accelerate deals.
• Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with pre-sales, customer success, and partner teams to advance complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Language Proficiency: Native or business-fluent German is required, along with excellent English skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset in an emerging market.
• Travel: Willingness to travel throughout Germany and participate in relevant public sector industry events and conferences.
