This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Concentrate on acquiring new logos through outbound initiatives and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging a robust network of decision-makers and influencers in the Financial Services sector to enhance engagements, drive strategic partnerships, and secure sales opportunities.
• Engage closely with customers and prospects as a consultative, trusted advisor who thoroughly understands their challenges and objectives, their technology environment, and will customize solutions to achieve measurable impact for their enterprises.
• Collaborate intimately with channel partners to identify opportunities for scaling outreach and enhancing customer satisfaction in your territory.
• Work with product and engineering teams, as well as customer success, on strategic initiatives to deliver solutions to large enterprise clients.
• Partner with Sales Development Representatives to enhance top-of-funnel activities.
• Manage the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach to proof-of-concept, deal closure, and deployment; this role is not merely transactional but requires continuous involvement in the project to ensure its success.
• 8-12+ years of B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprises in the Financial Services industry, successfully negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2-5 year) SaaS contracts in the seven-figure range, with a proven record of high performance and exceeding quotas.
• Prior experience as a technical consultative salesperson, dealing with complex products such as developer tools, API solutions, or AI/NLP technologies, particularly within the Financial Services sector, is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with clients during the deployment phase of projects, ensuring the solution is configured and customized effectively to foster success in production and build trust for future expansion.
• Familiarity with channel partners, including cloud hyperscalers and system integrators, to drive sales cycles and achieve shared revenue targets.
• High tolerance for ambiguity; as an early sales hire, you must be a self-starter, doer, and strategist capable of wearing multiple hats and navigating a path to success.
• A strong sense of curiosity; a desire to delve deeply into NLP and become an expert on our technology while considering its integration into a large organization's technology ecosystem, particularly in the Financial Services sector.
• Exceptional communication skills; you are an attentive listener, adept at understanding the priorities of others, building strong relationships, effectively engaging with the c-suite, and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences within the Financial Services industry.
