This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Oversee the entire sales process within the DOW, fostering new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans that align with mission objectives, operational requirements, funding cycles, and contracting frameworks.
• Articulate Legion’s technologies into clear and persuasive value propositions customized for DOW needs.
• Ensure Legion’s involvement in DOW experiments, exercises, and pilot initiatives.
• Collaborate with defense prime contractors to target and secure larger DOW opportunities.
• Develop and sustain sales playbooks that center on DOW use cases, procurement procedures, and security standards.
• Keep accurate and current Salesforce data while providing reliable forecasts for your designated territory.
• Assume a leadership role in enhancing Legion’s presence within DOW, maintaining strong engagement with key accounts.
• A minimum of 7 years of software sales experience in the federal government or national security arena, showcasing a solid history of promoting the adoption of emerging technologies and surpassing revenue benchmarks. Relevant military or civilian government experience may be considered in place of sales background.
• In-depth knowledge of DOW missions, operational hurdles, and technology requirements.
• Proven experience navigating intricate DOW acquisition and procurement procedures.
• Expertise in territory planning, forecasting, and CRM management (Salesforce preferred).
• Demonstrated capability to price, quote, negotiate, and finalize complex deals.
• Outstanding relationship-building abilities and the capacity to collaborate with various stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts.
• Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Active Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Location options include the National Capital Region, Tampa, Florida, Austin, TX, or Denver, CO.
• Willingness to travel between 25% and 50% of the time.
