Senior Account Executive, Australia & New Zealand

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a thorough territory and account strategy aimed at establishing a strong pipeline, consistently achieving or surpassing quarterly and yearly sales objectives.

• Manage end-to-end, value-oriented enterprise sales processes, utilizing "Land & Expand" tactics to enhance Neo4j adoption within designated accounts.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams by providing clear direction and leadership to assigned Business Development Representatives, Field Marketing, and Channel Directors to maximize pipeline growth and partner networks.

• Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales Engineering teams to define, assess, and present compelling Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical proposals that secure client commitment.

• Develop and utilize strategic co-selling partnerships with local public cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

• Ensure meticulous CRM management within Salesforce.com, maintaining accurate pipeline information, reporting, and forecasting in compliance with corporate standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

• At least 7 years of experience consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets for technical solutions and enterprise software offerings.

• Proven experience in executing complex enterprise sales processes using structured methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, consultative selling, or value selling).

• Experience in presenting to and managing relationships with C-level executives.

• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging both business and technical stakeholders.

• Background in selling data platforms, information management solutions, NoSQL, or relational databases, ideally within the Financial Services industry.

• Familiarity with commercial open-source software (COSS) business models, including selling subscriptions for on-premise, hybrid, and cloud solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of the broader data ecosystem, including cloud provider environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), ETL processes, and Generative AI integrations.

• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-growth software environment, effectively utilizing dedicated cross-functional resources (BDRs, Field Marketing, Pre-Sales).

• Strong conviction and architectural insight into how graph solutions provide unique competitive advantages over alternative database strategies.
