This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for collaborating with Sales Leaders to effectively position all Skillsoft solutions to corporate decision-makers, aiming to achieve and surpass revenue targets while showcasing key competitive advantages of the solution line(s).
• Work alongside sales leaders to develop strategic plans and objectives that foster business growth within existing Strategic Accounts, partnering with functional teams to successfully advance critical opportunities and enhance market penetration.
• Engage broader account teams in crafting short- and long-term strategies focused on sustaining and increasing revenue from current customers.
• Take ownership of business relationships to guide the wider account team in accomplishing measurable and defined business objectives and goals with timelines related to revenue and expansion of whitespace.
• Ensure the comprehensive resources of the company are effectively utilized to meet customer needs and support the goals of the account strategy.
• Confidently demonstrate Skillsoft solutions, aligning product features with business outcomes, and effectively communicating with enterprise and C-level buyers.
• Possess the ability to work with urgency, embody a bold, creative, curious, and competitive spirit, and maintain a positive, winning attitude.
• Lead value-driven negotiations across complex deals, articulating ROI, total business impact, and time-to-value to facilitate the advancement and closure of opportunities.
• Build networks and influence at the C-suite level, forging strong relationships across complex organizations to identify enterprise-wide challenges where Skillsoft’s solutions provide unique value.
• Act with urgency and accountability, employing creativity, curiosity, and a competitive drive to establish and close a high-quality, multi-solution pipeline.
• Over 8 years of professional direct sales experience, specializing in SaaS, PaaS, B2B, and/or enterprise software sales to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives, with an exceptional record of quota attainment.
• A proven history of surpassing quotas through expansion, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
• Demonstrated success in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including engaging with multiple functions, buying groups, and executive audiences.
• Proven ability to prospect with a structured activity model to maximize revenue growth, alongside collaboration and leveraging subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
• Strong grasp of solution and value-based selling, including constructing business cases that align platform capabilities with strategic customer initiatives.
• Capable of demonstrating solutions and articulating the language of corporate buyers while respectfully challenging their perspectives.
• Experience in collaborating and utilizing subject matter expertise within a matrixed sales environment.
• Ability to work with urgency, possess a competitive spirit, demonstrate a positive, winning attitude, and maintain an adaptive, agile mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com.
