• Build and nurture relationships with executives in Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance, enhancing the visibility of Sardine's brand and value proposition.
• Conduct thorough discovery sessions to fully grasp the challenges, initiatives, existing technology stack, and strategic priorities of prospective clients.
• Establish credibility, trust, and thought leadership in the fields of Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, and Fraud.
• Attain expertise in Sardine's product offerings, illustrating their composable nature and innovatively delivering solutions that align with clients' business and technological needs.
• Oversee the complete sales process, working alongside the Growth team and BDRs to implement targeted outbound strategies, qualify sales opportunities, customize presentations and demos with the Solutions Engineering team, lead negotiations, and manage the contracting process to successfully close deals.
• Collaborate across different functions within the Sardine team to relay market insights from prospects and clients.
• 5-8 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
• 3+ years of demonstrated success in selling to fintechs and neo-banks, with a strong preference for expertise in fraud and compliance.
• A broad network of industry executives and leaders.
• Proven consultative sales experience with skill in conducting impactful discovery sessions.
• Ability to translate challenges related to risk, compliance, technical issues, and customer experience into significant business value.
• Outstanding research, planning, and attention to detail.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to connect with individuals effectively.
• Proficient in managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and writing capabilities.
• Proven experience in structuring complex deals with strong financial insight.
• Willingness to travel across Australia, Asia Pacific, and globally as required.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in working within a highly matrixed, global organization that spans multiple geographies and time zones.
