This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Expanding the PCS Software client base and acquiring new business logos by reaching out to potential prospects through cold calling and in-person client visits, culminating in the successful closure of multi-year licensing agreements.
β’ Follow up on existing lead opportunities and engage new prospects through outbound calling initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with the Platform Engineers to arrange demonstrations that showcase specific features of the PCS platform.
β’ Provide exceptional customer service to prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.
β’ Identify decision-makers and build relationships with key stakeholders to foster interest and secure deals.
β’ Record daily sales activities and relay information concerning prospects and opportunities using Salesforce.com.
β’ Manage the complete sales cycle with potential prospects, starting from initial contact through continuous follow-ups, negotiating, and finalizing sales agreements.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience focusing on mid-market and enterprise transportation businesses.
β’ Over 5 years of demonstrated proficiency in hunting and prospecting for sales opportunities through outbound calling, face-to-face customer meetings, and participation in industry marketing events and campaigns.
β’ Experience in B2B phone sales is essential.
β’ At least 2 years of sales experience in one of the following areas: Transportation or Logistics Software Sales, SaaS Sales, Platform Sales, Technology Sales, or related fields.
β’ Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
β’ Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage leads, oversee a sales pipeline, and conduct forecasting effectively.
β’ Established history of selling solutions both over the phone and in the field, utilizing persuasive closing techniques and ideally formal sales methodologies and/or software demo training.
