• The Senior Account Executive (SAE) holds a pivotal leadership position in executing new client strategies and managing the ongoing service and renewal processes for current clients.
• Beyond organizing benefit meetings, creating educational materials, and communicating plan designs, the SAE acts as a reliable advisor for group representatives and brokers.
• This role necessitates close cooperation with internal teams to address intricate service challenges, guide plan designs, and ensure operations run smoothly.
• The SAE is tasked with mentoring junior team members, spearheading high-level client interactions, and implementing retention strategies.
• This position entails considerable travel to conduct face-to-face service meetings and nurture long-lasting client relationships.
• Offer strategic guidance and consultation to key broker partners, steering plan development and adaptation to meet business goals.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior account executives, promoting their professional growth.
• Cultivate high-level client relationship management and retention strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Supervise the rollout of new groups and manage service delivery for existing clients and brokers.
• Conduct benefit meetings, create educational materials, and address complicated claims/service issues.
• Convey plan design and renewal updates to internal teams to guarantee smooth execution.
• Develop and deliver tailored employee/employer materials and performance reports.
• Advise clients and brokers on compliance and reporting obligations related to benefit plans and federal regulations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in client services or account management, preferably within the healthcare or benefits administration sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-value client accounts and lead strategic projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail and a systems-oriented approach.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
