This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the primary liaison for Deutsche Telekom, including T-Systems International.
• Maintain high-level executive contact with the account, concentrating on the strategic and operational aspects of account management.
• Responsibilities may also extend to supporting infrastructure opportunities with Vodafone Germany and Telefonica Germany, contingent on the candidate's experience.
• Promote the organization’s products or services while nurturing relationships with existing strategic accounts.
• Identify and evaluate both long-term and short-term business opportunities, proactively addressing competitive challenges.
• Facilitate communication regarding strategic and tactical matters, ensuring continuity.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, technical advancements, and government regulations impacting target markets.
• Develop applications for products and services and articulate how F5’s technical solutions can meet those needs, while also understanding the business requirements of the customer’s organization.
• Take a leadership role in coordinating account strategies and tactics for sales support teams, including inside sales, systems engineering, and sales management.
• Assume complete responsibility for precise sales forecasting, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact to the procurement process.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of SalesForce.
• Assist in the development of Managed Security Services that incorporate F5 technology as part of Telekom Deutschland and/or T-Systems' offerings.
• Recognized as a trusted resource by the customer base and an expert in the field.
• Capable of influencing senior-level executives within the named account, such as Senior Executives, Board members, or Chairs.
• Extensive direct experience with DT (Telekom Deutschland and/or T-Systems).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Requires specialized knowledge in networking products, service provider infrastructure, and the managed service provider ecosystem.
• Experience with the F5 product portfolio, including Big IP, Distributed Cloud, and NGINX, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud business and transformation, Kubernetes, hyperscale concepts, SaaS sales, and other cloud technologies.
• Background in security solutions and the sales approach towards customers.
• Project management abilities to coordinate the team involved in your accounts' projects.
• Strategic insight into service provider strategies and demands, with the ability to discuss business concepts both internally and externally.
• Strong negotiation, closing skills, solution selling, and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent client interaction skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Capability to work from a home office situated within the designated territory.
• Willingness to meet customers in person.
• Experience with Core Mobile Networks Solutions & Security is a plus.
• Background with Telefonica O2 Germany and Vodafone Germany is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Data Center architectures, ranging from traditional to cloud-native, is a plus.
