This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement a territory strategy aimed at acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts.
• Build, manage, and advance a robust sales pipeline.
• Navigate complex customer organizations by identifying and engaging key stakeholders.
• Facilitate and lead customer interactions through discovery, assessment, proposal creation, and solution alignment.
• Create and present clear, value-driven proposals.
• Collaborate effectively with channel partners and technology alliances.
• Ensure accurate tracking of opportunities and forecasting.
• Provide insights from customers and feedback on competitors.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• A customer-centric mindset with a strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection.
• Demonstrated success in selling enterprise technology solutions.
• Track record of contributing to new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
• Fundamental understanding of data security and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is advantageous.
• Experience with platforms such as NetBackup, Backup Exec, or InfoScale is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in English for both customer and internal communication.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Preference for candidates from Chennai with over 10 years of experience selling in the Hyderabad and Chennai markets.
• Candidates should have 10+ years of experience selling to CIOs/CISOs.
