This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement account strategies. Identify prospects and sell within the designated territory.
• Increase the assigned product portfolio within the existing accounts in the specified geographic area and vertical market.
• Utilize designated Cayuse sales tools (Salesforce, Google Suite, Salesloft) for tracking and managing all sales-related information.
• Actively support sales initiatives by sending introductory emails and conducting follow-up calls.
• Participate in regional and national trade shows, exhibitions, and company events.
• Display a willingness to learn and understand the dynamics of the research administration sector and higher education.
• Organize product demonstrations for all Cayuse solutions in collaboration with the designated Solutions Consultant.
• Effectively align solutions with customer requirements and customize demonstrations accordingly.
• Travel as necessary for client meetings and other activities (25% or more of schedule).
• Maintain a precise and timely forecast in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Professional Services on service quotes as needed.
• Communicate client needs and market insights.
• Attend assigned training sessions with the Sales Team.
• Regularly seek product training to maintain expert-level knowledge of all assigned products.
• Manage the RFP/tender process as required by potential clients.
• Achieve or surpass activity targets, such as the number of product demonstrations, to meet funnel development goals.
• Minimum of 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
• Comprehensive sales experience, including BDR/SDR roles.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and sell effectively in complex prospect environments.
• Strong command of strategic selling processes and tools.
• Excellent communication skills via telephone, Zoom, and email.
• Ability to deliver effective presentations to large audiences (ranging from 5 to 100 people).
• Experience managing large internal project teams necessary for executing intricate sales processes.
• A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is mandatory for this role.
• A demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong phone presence and experience in cold calling.
• Proficient in corporate productivity and online presentation tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills along with presentation and demo experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, and other sales methodologies.
