This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the entire sales process: from prospecting and initial conversations to discovery, peer-benchmarked diagnostics, strategy presentations, proposals, and closing deals.
• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline of premium consumer brands across direct-to-consumer (DTC), omnichannel, wholesale-building, and emerging market segments.
• Conduct calls confidently addressing business models, products, customers, and marketing strategies.
• Bring a well-informed perspective to every initial meeting.
• Collaborate with strategy and analytics teams to transform access into a documented review and a precise set of recommendations focused on the areas where the prospect needs to expand.
• Co-create proposals that align with Belardi Wong's strategy, planning, analytics, and execution to meet the client's commercial goals.
• Cultivate and sustain a strong network within the eCommerce, retail, DTC, and CPG landscapes to foster introductions and referrals.
• Represent Belardi Wong at industry events, conferences, partner summits, and intimate client roundtables.
• Stay updated on the trends that influence our clients' businesses: changes in platforms, measurement and attribution, signal loss, AI developments, retail dynamics, and emerging tools.
• Work alongside marketing and leadership to enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to service or positioning innovations.
• Assist in developing the tools, processes, and systems that will enhance business development initiatives.
• 2-5 years of proven success in full-cycle business development within a digital agency, consultancy, or martech firm catering to consumer brands.
• Consistent history of securing $1M+ in new business each year.
• Proficient in paid search and social media, programmatic advertising, CRM, attribution, and measurement techniques.
• Self-motivated with a genuine "hunter" mentality—driven, strategic, and focused on results.
• Outstanding abilities in presentation, writing, and active listening.
• Experienced with CRM systems.
