📋 Description

• API Sales: Lead the entire sales process for API offerings, starting from prospecting and initial outreach to negotiation and closing. Handle intricate and high-value sales opportunities to consistently achieve and surpass personal sales targets.

• Revenue Growth: Proactively stimulate revenue growth by recognizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts. Formulate strategies to enhance client engagement with API plans and features, optimizing long-term value.

• Sales Strategy: Contribute insightful perspectives to the sales strategy by providing frontline observations on market dynamics, client input, and competitive landscape. Implement the go-to-market strategy to effectively penetrate target markets.

• Sales Forecasting: Keep an accurate and timely sales forecast for your personal pipeline. Offer clear updates on deal progression and potential risks to sales leadership to aid in comprehensive forecasting endeavors.

• Lead Generation: Actively generate and qualify new business leads through focused outreach, networking, and collaboration with the Growth team. Manage and cultivate a pipeline of prospects to ensure a steady flow of deals.

• Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust, enduring relationships with key client stakeholders, including technical teams and decision-makers. Guarantee a seamless onboarding process and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Solutioning & Technical Scoping: Spearhead the technical scoping phase with prospective clients to thoroughly understand their requirements. Create and present customized API solution proposals that align with their business objectives, technical needs, and budget constraints.

• Market Research: Remain updated on market trends, competitor actions, and emerging API applications. Share insights with the sales and product teams to refine our offerings and sales strategies.

• Sales Reporting & Analytics: Keep precise records of all sales activities in the CRM system. Generate regular reports on individual performance, pipeline status, and key deal metrics for management review.

• Sales Operations & Process Optimization: Follow established sales protocols and maintain excellent CRM standards. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the team's professional standards. Develop playbooks from the ground up, rather than just modifying existing ones.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and other teams to ensure technical feasibility, smooth implementation, and high levels of client satisfaction.

• Coaching: Serve as a mentor for junior to mid-level sales team members and interns, offering guidance on deal strategies, product knowledge, and effective sales techniques.

• Support ad hoc tasks as required by the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record: You possess 3-5 years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, consistently surpassing targets, ideally within startups or fintech environments. You have strong technical sales expertise and are adept at engaging with CTOs, Product Managers, and engineers.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Product Knowledge: You have a thorough understanding of CoinGecko’s API product, customer needs, and the crypto/blockchain landscape.

• Sales Knowledge: You are well-versed in the complete sales lifecycle (prospecting, nurturing, closing), pipeline management, and sales reporting.

• Familiarity with Data Tools: You are proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and effectively leverage data to manage your pipeline and sales activities.

• Familiarity with API Products: You possess a solid understanding of API products, SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, etc.), and typical customer use cases for APIs.

• Strategy & Research Skills: You have strong market research, competitor analysis, and go-to-market strategy experience. You adopt a data-driven approach to forecasting and improving performance, with the ability to convert sales data into actionable insights for refining strategy.

• Project Management: You exhibit strong project management capabilities, managing multiple initiatives while addressing risks, costs, and timelines. You maintain high attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, ensuring top execution standards.

• Entrepreneurial: You are self-driven, resourceful, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling success in a fast-paced and highly agile environment.

• Communication: You can forge robust relationships with clients and internal teams through clear and persuasive verbal and written communication.

• Negotiation: You possess strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure favorable terms.

• Leadership: You demonstrate leadership potential by guiding others and positively influencing the team. You can work autonomously and push initiatives forward.

• Growth Mindset: You have strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. You are passionate about continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends.

• Web3 Interest: You possess a keen interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs, web3, and metaverse topics.
