• Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, which includes cold outreach, networking, and attending events.
• Develop and strengthen high-value customer relationships by implementing land-and-expand strategies.
• Generate significant new revenue by managing and nurturing a portfolio of strategic accounts while converting new business leads.
• Conduct sophisticated commercial negotiations and customer acquisition using a consultative approach.
• Create and sustain an outstanding sales pipeline utilizing advanced methodologies such as MEDDIC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver significant value for larger accounts.
• Generate pipeline through prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and occasional travel to events.
• Utilize Salesforce and Gong for accurate forecasting and insights.
• Maintain excellent account documentation and system hygiene.
• Continuously enhance skills to keep pace with evolving product and market dynamics.
• Exemplify performance metrics that are aligned with effective opportunity growth and healthy account management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales team members, sharing best practices and sales techniques.
• Assist in company-wide projects and OKRs as needed, contributing to the overall performance of the revenue team.
• 4+ years of sales experience, preferably as an Account Executive with expertise in both new business sales and account management.
• A proven history of consistently meeting and surpassing quota, including success with complex, high-value accounts.
• Demonstrated success in managing sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in MEDDICC and the 3 Why's frameworks.
• Expertise in predictive pipeline management and strategic forecasting.
• Proven ability to design and execute complex lead qualification strategies.
• Demonstrated success in navigating intricate organizational landscapes.
• A strong track record of building and sustaining executive-level relationships.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Expert in managing global, distributed sales environments.
• Capability to drive strategic change and mentor junior sales professionals.
• Exceptional strategic communication skills.
• Proven ability to convey complex business value propositions effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership in facilitating systemic change.
