This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Facilitates strategy calls for RFPs, crafts client proposals, prepares presentations for clients, and engages in negotiations to finalize contracts.
• Secures new business authorizations that meet or exceed the designated authorization targets.
• Conducts cold calls and client visits; keeps the sales database updated; and maintains records of cold call and client visit activities.
• Guarantees client satisfaction through regular communication; reports on and formulates recommendations to resolve client dissatisfaction; and addresses all client inquiries promptly.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector, demonstrating success in achieving or surpassing goals.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and the capacity for independent travel.
• In-depth scientific and technical understanding of drug development, clinical trials, and laboratory services.
• Proven track record in establishing and maintaining relationships with executive-level decision makers.
• Expertise in consultative selling, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills to effectively engage a variety of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating within matrix organizations.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Strategic insight and business acumen to identify and cultivate new opportunities.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time for client meetings and business development activities.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
