This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accomplish the assigned objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact for all designated schools and districts.
• Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders across the accounts.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and identify gaps.
• Establish district contacts and nurture relationships at all levels to enhance TCM's presence, leading to significant growth within assigned accounts.
• Gather account information regarding organizational structure, contacts, purchasing processes, and identify potential business activities essential for closing accounts.
• Maintain consistent communication with the account base and boost revenue by positioning and demonstrating new and existing products, preparing relevant RFPs, and finalizing sales.
• Generate, develop, manage, and communicate expectations within assigned accounts while expanding the scope of penetration within each account.
• Evaluate new opportunities and prospects, assess the size of opportunities, and articulate closure probabilities.
• Keep complete and accurate records in the company’s CRM module for all activities.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products and their capabilities compared to the strengths and weaknesses of competitive offerings.
• Travel for in-person customer meetings within the assigned territory is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in professional sales within the education or related sectors.
• Meet sales responsibilities and achieve annual goals.
• Demonstrated success in selling and building relationships with high-level customers.
• Proven ability to enhance the highest levels of Customer Experience.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in education (as a teacher, administrator, etc.).
• Familiarity with academic curricula.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel outside of the territory for designated regional and national sales meetings.
• Comfortable working in the field (assigned territory) 90% of the time.
• Must reside in or near the Buffalo or Syracuse, New York area.
