Senior ABAP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze, develop, maintain, and enhance SAP programs, interfaces, reports, forms, and integrations utilizing ABAP.

• Create solutions leveraging both procedural and object-oriented ABAP.

• Collaborate with ABAP OO, ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDocs, and various interfaces.

• Implement enhancements, User-Exits, and Enhancement Points effectively.

• Develop SmartForms, SAPscript, and/or Adobe Forms, along with CDS Views and OData/Gateway solutions.

• Conduct debugging, dump analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.

• Integrate solutions seamlessly with SAP modules.

• Contribute to implementation, enhancement, and support projects within ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

• Execute impact analysis, technical estimates, and code reviews.

• Mentor less experienced professionals and collaborate with functional consultants and business users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher education qualification.

• Extensive experience in developing and supporting SAP solutions with ABAP.

• Proficiency in ABAP OO, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User-Exits, Enhancement Points, RFCs, IDocs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, CDS Views, and OData.

• Strong knowledge in debugging, performance analysis, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Previous experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments is preferred.

• Development practices aligned with SAP best practices.

• Familiarity with transports, version control, and the overall SAP development lifecycle.

• Capability to perform technical analysis and gather requirements alongside functional teams.

• Capacity to work independently, conduct impact analysis and technical estimates, perform code reviews, mentor less experienced professionals, and engage directly with functional consultants and business users.
