Semi Senior Java/C++ Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Execute targeted developments and resolve existing vulnerabilities utilizing Java.

• Analyze engine traces in C++ to identify calculations or errors.

• Assist with minor modifications and developments in C++.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in both Java and C++ environments.

• Operate within Linux environments.

• Utilize Git for managing source code.

• Collaborate with Devin.

• Aid in development initiatives, vulnerability remediation, debugging, and issue investigation across Java and C++ applications pertaining to Market Risk processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Java, J2EE, C++, Linux, and Market Risk environments.

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux.

• Proven experience in debugging Java applications.

• Proven experience in debugging C++ applications.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Understanding of Market Risk.

• Experience in Java development and vulnerability remediation.

• Capability to analyze and debug calculation engine traces and application errors.

• Proficiency in English at Level B2/C1.

• Understanding of Market Risk concepts and methodologies, including AIR Sensitivities, Value at Risk (VaR), and Stress Testing (optional).
