Security System Requirements Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cybersecurity experts to identify risks, threats, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling.

• Establish clear, traceable, and verifiable security requirements for hardware, firmware, and software.

• Document and maintain Security Requirement Specifications (SRS) using tools like Polarion.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and testing while managing changes and their impacts.

• Work with engineering teams to integrate secure boot, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), encryption, access control, and secure updates.

• Participate in architecture and design reviews.

• Define validation criteria and assist QA teams in security testing.

• Stay updated on threats and best practices, proposing continuous improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in requirements engineering focused on security for electronic systems.

• Experience in threat modeling (STRIDE, DREAD), Software Development Lifecycle (SDL), and risk analysis.

• Proficiency in requirements management tools: DOORS, Jama, Jira, Azure DevOps, Polarion.

• Strong understanding of IoT architectures, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or similar (preferred).

• Experience in regulated sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices (preferred).

• Knowledge of MISRA C/C++, agile methodologies, and pentesting tools (preferred).
