Senior Security Research Architect – Confidential Computing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, develop, and implement architectural solutions that fulfill both internal and external security standards and requirements.

• Leverage innovative security primitives to facilitate the creation of next-generation secure platforms.

• Steer the development of Confidential Computing design within DPU and NIC products across various teams, including hardware, software, research, and product teams.

• Execute architectural modeling and validation, define microarchitecture, adhere to standards bodies, and create infrastructure that supports trusted platforms utilizing hardware security methods.

• Collaborate with customers and partners to identify and mitigate security issues and threats.

• Enhance the Networking protocol CJDNS and integrate it with fully distributed key management.

• Assume a hands-on technical leadership position to define, design, implement, and oversee the execution of Trusted Execution Environment architecture for NICs and DPUs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Direct work experience with Trusted Execution Technologies, including AMD SEV, Intel TDX, and Intel SGX, at both hardware and software levels.

• Knowledge of computing platform security, threat models, mitigation techniques, Trusted Execution Environments, and isolation techniques.

• Experience in profiling and modeling isolation architectures while assessing secure-system performance.

• Familiarity with Trusted Computing attestation methods and their use in overlay mesh networks.

• Proficient in programming and debugging fundamentals in Verilog, Python/Perl scripting, ARM assembly, and C/C++.

• Understanding of secure device management over MCTP and related programming interfaces.
