Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Perform a security audit of the Atlassian Cloud environment, which includes Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and customer portals.

• Analyze Confluence integrations, applications from the Atlassian Marketplace, and API-based integrations.

• Evaluate identity and access management systems, permissions, and potential risks related to data exposure.

• Assess the security of Atlassian Rovo and identify risks associated with AI technologies.

• Review configurations and security controls to uncover vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and governance gaps.

• Evaluate risks concerning data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

• Create a detailed audit report supported by evidence, featuring prioritized findings, risk assessments, and practical recommendations for remediation.

• Formulate a remediation roadmap that aligns with Atlassian best practices and enterprise security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in information security, conducting security audits, and performing penetration testing.

• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, including NIS2, ISO 27001, and NIST.

• Practical experience in security and configuration reviews of Atlassian Cloud.

• Understanding of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and integrations with Confluence.

• Experience in evaluating the security of third-party applications, APIs, and system integrations.

• Knowledge of identity and access management, permissions, and risks related to data exposure.

• Capable of identifying security vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and providing actionable recommendations for remediation.

• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).

• Must be located in the European Union region and possess a valid work permit.
