This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Assist the Enterprise Security Sales team in promoting the adoption of Datadog’s security solutions within targeted strategic accounts.
• Work in conjunction with the broader sales team to identify and comprehend security needs across Datadog’s Enterprise customer landscape.
• Perform comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features and advantages of Datadog's security offerings.
• Offer technical knowledge and support throughout the sales process, including during client evaluations and proof-of-value initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain an in-depth understanding of Datadog's security products, industry developments, and existing vulnerabilities, ensuring awareness of the latest features and improvements.
• Aid in the development of technical proposals, documentation, and additional sales materials.
• Collaborate closely with the product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and shape product development.
• Engage in industry events, conferences, and webinars to advocate for Datadog's security solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with SIEM platforms and detection pipelines, SOC workflows (alert triage, investigation, response), endpoint security (EDR/MDR), and the implementation and adjustment of security controls in live customer settings.
• Proficient knowledge of the developer and DevOps ecosystems and best practices in application security.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security tools and technologies.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for critical and creative thinking.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and attendance at industry events.
