Security Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the vulnerability management program for corporate infrastructure.

• Assist in the integration of AI tools throughout corporate infrastructure.

• Identify, document, and automate security controls and processes for the organization.

• Facilitate automation of the Identity, Access, and Device Management program from onboarding to offboarding.

• Contribute to the comprehensive lifecycle of security event and incident response, which includes alert triage, investigation, and remediation.

• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.

• Collaborate on Security Team projects as well as routine activities.

• Manage assigned tasks and enhance existing processes.

• Develop and automate security foundations for device management, identity management, and patch and vulnerability management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a Security Analyst or Security Operations role within a growing business, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in AI, including experience with coding agents.

• Proven technical knowledge of vulnerability management.

• Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management principles.

• Demonstrated experience and comfort in analyzing logs.

• Familiarity with security and investigation tools such as Datadog, Jamf, CrowdStrike, Okta, or similar platforms.

• Previous experience in automating processes, scripting, and technical documentation.

• Knowledge of security frameworks like the MITRE framework.

• Strong logical thinking skills and excellent communication abilities.

• Confidence in investigating security issues and escalating them appropriately.

• Ability to participate in Zepto’s after-hours on-call rotation.

• Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
